                Guided Systems) with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)

  • An outreach program bringing education and awareness to Upper Elementary, Middle School and High School students about mental health through Breaking the Silence and Ending the Silence.

  • Working with Childcare Facilities to guide them through the delivery of the ASQ-SE’s (Ages and Stages Questionnaire Social and Emotional) to infants and children ages 0-5.

  • Working with Collier County School District to assess children struggling with social, educational and emotional issues.

  • Friend to Friend Coordinator, matching volunteers for the expressed purpose of socialization and advocacy.

  • SSI/SSDI and Medicaid advocate for disabled individuals trying to navigate federal, state and county disability procedures.

  • Worked with mental health clients at the Sarah Ann Drop In Center in the area of arts and crafts to promote wellness.

                                         

{2007 - Current} Motivational Speaker and Life Coach

  • Working with clients one on one to develop the skills to cope with issues and beliefs that are limiting their happiness and wellbeing. Identify values, interests, and skills that are likely to drive success and satisfaction in school, career and life. Exploration and awareness of who they are and enabling them to feel confident in the decision making processes.

  • Speaking to organizations - Sand Dollars, Pilot Club of Naples, Directors of Volunteer Services in Hospital Organizations, Florida Association of Directors of Volunteer Services and more - on topics relating to leadership and goal setting, customer/volunteer relations and the benefits of Color Therapy.

                       

{2004 – 2007}  NCH Healthcare System Naples, Florida Coordinator of the Arts in Healing Program/Volunteer Coordinator

  • Successfully managed all aspects of a large organization of over 1200 volunteers and staff with duties that incorporated but were not limited to selecting, managing and training volunteers; helping to develop and manage the departmental budget; establishing and monitoring department and Volunteer Auxiliary goals; participating as the liaison between the Volunteer Auxiliary and Administration; designed the process and procedure for service areas related to Volunteer Services. Demonstrated leadership skills by managing a large volunteer base.

  • Processed 96 new volunteers annually while managing to supply appropriate services and jobs to over 35 different locations.

  • Helped develop the operating budget for Volunteer Services based on detailed forecasts. Effectively operated within the budget guidelines.

  • Established a therapeutic arts program on the rehabilitation floor. Worked under an occupational therapist to insure therapeutic measures were met. Created the Art Gallery at both NCH downtown and North Collier hospitals. Trained volunteer artists to work with patients.

 

{1993-Current} Professional Artist

  • Responsible for a small gallery, Watercolor by Rosemarie, in Gualala, California. Booked, displayed and sold my work in major juried shows throughout the country. Created and prepared art work for sale in shows. Formed an Art Guild at the Center for Arts in Gualala, California. Operated two artist studios in Naples, Florida, housing over 10 local artists. Taught artistic creative-self workshops.  Sold work internationally through agents in Canada and Germany.
